Craft'd Events is thrilled to bring the Boutique Wine Festival to Welly for the first time. Over 20 boutique wineries from the Wellington region come together at Foxglove, showcasing authentic artisan singularity in wine styles and varieties. Discover the region’s most hidden boutique wineries and their incredible wines. This event will be a vibrant showcase providing sensory blasts with tastes, aromas, and observations, all while listening to the fascinating stories behind the crafting of the winemaker’s products. Thoughtfully inspired tapas platters crafted from local ingredients will pair deliciously with the regional wines. All-day live music too!

Hunting was and still is central to many New Zealanders’ lives – whether it’s to feed their families, earn a living or explore the country’s amazing wilderness. It has helped to build communities and families, and hunting knowledge has been handed down from generation to generation.
Hunting is intrinsic to the way New Zealanders view the natural world and the way we've experienced, closely observed and understood the bush.

The hills and backcountry around Wellington have long been rich in flora and fauna sustaining local Iwi, settlers and the modern-day hunter fisherman. This dish is created as a tribute to the early gatherers, farmers and hunters who enjoyed the abundance of food available in the Wellington harbour and hills.

Dish Description: Rare seared Pure South venison backstrap with venison heart pastrami, venison osso bucco tortellini in crayfish bisque finished with honeycomb, Awatoru Wildfood black truffle and a Drunken Nanny smoked goats milk panna cotta.
