If you explore the qualities of music and food at the same time, does it intensify your sensory experience of both? Let’s find out! The Sensonauts, in association with Boquita, present an intimate event deliciously combining taste and sound in an interactive sensory adventure you've never experienced before. Talented chef Anastasha Sarlis and award-winning musician Rosie Langabeer will collaborate on an inventive menu of delights, where they craft certain qualities with each item.
As each item of food tickles the taste buds, you'll hear a matching piece of music designed to tease out the utmost sensory aliveness. We may start with something that's light, fresh and zingy. Later on, perhaps a concoction that's rounded, earthy and dark. Then maybe a piece that’s honeyed and melting... The musical journey will be crafted live and amplified with an exceptionally high quality of sound, with bespoke soundsystem creators, Tub’s Audio, finessing the sonic conditions.
The sensory experts will start by helping you activate your sense of sound and taste. After each delightful mini-course is served, you'll get the chance to chat with your fellow sensory adventurers to compare explorations. By the time the final item meets your lips and ears, you'll be replete with beautiful food and music.
