Inspired by 232 Oriental Parade history, the home of some of Wellington's most iconic restaurants in the 70s and 80s, The Beachcomber and Castaways, and their menus. Our Meat 'n' Three is a retrospective dish, taken into 2021 with a touch of Tennessee. 'Meat and three vege' is going all the way to the American South using quality Wellington produce. Pork cheek is slow-cooked in apples and Tennessee whiskey and served with Kāpiti gruyere mac 'n' cheese and Wellington vegetables. A little bit country, a little look into our past.
