Kari Taukua Achi

Taukua was introduced by the Chinese immigrants when they immigrated to Malaysia. As time passed by, it became so popular that the Malaysian population started to introduce Taukua to every township's market. Chef Muthu's family cooked or fried it at home at least once a week. At one point, his mum added tofu to her curry and everyone loved it! From his fond memories of his childhood and hometown, Chef Muthu wants to bring back "taukua" in a curry, inspired by his mum's cooking and adding his own twist.
