Terrariums are back and more fashionable than ever, especially when accompanied by gin! After gaining major popularity during the 1970s and 1980s, it's time for these mini eco-systems to enjoy time in the spotlight again. Join the team at Lovebite and learn how to compose and care for your own terrarium, while sipping on 80's hits like Jungle Birds, Midori gin sours, Tom Collins' and cucumber martinis. All materials are provided, including a glass terrarium jar, a selection of tropical plants and a few 80's figurines.
Terrariums are easy to care for and make unique and long-lasting gifts. The terrarium is yours to take home at the end of the night. No previous terrarium knowledge required!

The Body Electric: An Aerobic Cocktail Experience
Get cocktail fit at Lovebite! Wellington's retro-themed cocktail bar loves 80s cocktails, and wants to celebrate the colour, the sweetness, and, of course, the leg warmers! For one night, Lovebite will become a yuppie gym, complete with 80s health foods, aerobics and cocktails, from the Blue Lagoon to the Purple Rain.
Try a cocktail-making aerobics class as you stir and shake your way through a cocktail-making aerobics routine, then cool down with some crudites! Cocktail aerobic videos will also be available online for guests to practice and work with real ingredients at home whilst they create cocktails to the beat. This is a relaxed, fun cocktail event, with stations for those who want to learn cocktails, those who want to drink cocktails and those who want to dance. Should you dress to the theme? Absolutely!

Southward Distilling Garden Magic gin, pineapple, Lot Eight Flavours of Aotearoa olive oil, coconut tea bitters, orange and cardamom bitters, lemon juice and egg white. Accompanied by a chippie sandwich with whipped kiwi dip butter.

Audio Soul with Self-control Non-alcoholic version
Seedlip Grove 42, pineapple, Lot Eight Flavours of Aotearoa olive oil, bittered coconut tea, orange and cardamom bitters, lemon juice and egg white. Accompanied by a chippie sandwich with whipped Kiwi dip butter. Please note that as this drink includes bitters it does contain some alcohol and will not be 0% ABV.
