Friends of the Festival Terms & Conditions

Like all good things, there are a few Terms & Conditions that you need to be aware of by becoming a Friend of the Festival.

  1. Visa Wellington On a Plate will be known as the Promoter within these terms and conditions.
  2. Friends of the Festival will be known as members within these terms and conditions.
  3. Friends of the Festival 2016 membership are valid from 09 May 2016 until 30 April 2017.
  4. Registrations are open from 09 May 2016, and close 09 June 2016 at 5pm
  5. To become a Friend of the Festival, the member must complete all mandatory fields of the Sign Up Form and complete the minimum payment procedure at the time of sign up.  Friend of the Festival status is not granted until the minimum payment has been completed and accepted.
  6. The Promoter has the right to deny Friend of the Festival status to any member request who has not completed the form completely, and honestly.
  7. Only one Friend of the Festival member application may be made per person, per year.
  8. Friends of the Festival is not open to schools, clubs, or corporates – only individuals can enter.
  9. The “Friend get Friend” offer is only available to 2015 members that re-sign and refer a new Friend, and is only applicable once per person. The discount will be made to each respective membership fee and re-paid on acceptance of the referral and full payment.
  10. Two (2) general admission tickets to Beervana 2016 are available to existing Friends who re-sign only. These will be distributed on 10 June 2016 to each existing member who selects a session on the Sign Up Form. Any additional tickets must be purchased at the member’s own discretion.
  11. Details of the meet & greet lunch at Logan Brown on Wednesday 10 August will be provided to those members who select the lunch on the sign up form at a later date. This lunch is exclusive to members only and no plus ones will be accepted.
  12. A member accepts the meet & greet lunch invitation with the knowledge they are to pay $25. In turn they will receive one (1) Festival Dish and beverage, plus a free dessert (valued at $10).
  13. Travel and any other additional or incidental costs associated with the meet & greet lunch, Beervana admission or advanced ticket purchases, are the responsibility of the member.
  14. Members can purchase tickets to as many Visa Wellington On a Plate Festival Events as they wish, however this is limited to four (4) per event.
  15. Festival Event tickets must be purchased by 12 noon, 10 June, via phone or email to the Festival Team, as per the details provided following sign up.
  16. Visa Wellington On a Plate tickets are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash and transactions are final.  Once purchased, tickets may not be exchanged or refunded.  The Ticketek standard ticketing terms and conditions apply.
  17. Ticket purchases made using the Friends of the Festival ticketing must be made with a Visa credit or debit card.
  18. Whilst all efforts will be made to have the desired Visa Wellington On a Plate tickets of choice available to members, there is not a 100% guarantee that the tickets sought will be available.  All Visa Wellington On a Plate tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis.
  19. All Friends of the Festival ticket purchase requests will be processed in the order in which they are received by the Festival Team. Each Festival Event ticket request will be numbered and date stamped as they are received.
  20. Once tickets are on Visa Pre-sale and/or General Release, members may purchase additional tickets if they desire, at their own discretion.
  21. The Promoter and their agents are not responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of the Friends of the Festival membership.
  22. By becoming a Friend of the Festival, members accept the terms and conditions stated above.
